Pass the Salt Truck

From WTVQ in Lexington, Kentucky:

Lots of salt trucks are on the road around Kentucky lately, meaning it's a perfect time for a tequila spill! 18-hundred gallons of Pepe Lopez spilled at the Brown Forman distillery in Louisville this morning. Firefighters raced out to the hazardous materials call because the 80-proof tequila was pouring into Louisville's sewer system. Brown Forman says a worker was unloading a tanker truck and put the hose in a receiving tank that was already full. No word on the exact monetary loss, but we did some checking and found that a liter of Pepe Lopez runs 15-99 at Liquor Barn. Do the math: about four liters go into a gallon, so a gallon of tequila runs about 64 dollars. That checks in at over 115 thousand dollars for all that spilled tequila!
